DELIGHT
Cara Mia,
How you delight My heart. As the deer pants for the water, so your heart pants after Me and it delights My heart. I love it when I see you wanting Me for Me, and not for what you hope I will give you. You truly delight My heart My child as I see My Son’s reflection on your face.
My child, I trust you. I am so proud of you. I have heard your deep groaning in the night season through much weeping. I have seen you run to Me and fall in weakness and despair crying out for your enemies. I have seen you endure through pain, grief, disappointment, rejection, betrayal and loneliness. I feel the compassion of your heart for the widow, the orphan, the lost and hurting. Cara Mia, you are My courageous one, and I am proud of you.
I am proud with each choice you make that honors Me and puts Me first. I am proud of your stand for righteousness in the midst of a perverse culture. I am proud of your decision to follow hard after Me, obeying with joy and delight. I am proud that you held on to Me through the fire of life’s challenges. But most importantly, I am so proud of how you adore My Son and your willingness to pick up your cross and follow after Him.
Oh Daughter, if you only knew how you delight My heart! And I will bless you beyond your greatest imagination. I will open windows and pour out blessings that you cannot contain. I will exalt you My child as you have humbled yourself in My hands, your enemies will see it and marvel.
Little one, I have plans for your future, plans to give you hope, plans to prosper the work of your hands, plans for good and not for evil.
I AM GOD AND THERE IS NO OTHER BESIDES ME WHO WILL MOVE HEAVEN AND EARTH TO BRING MY PURPOSES TO PASS IN YOUR LIFE.
Believe Me child, even though today you see no sign of change. Just as the leaves are turning brown and will fall to the ground, and the snow will come and cover the new life of spring, so shall your change come and it will be glorious!
Your very proud, Poppa
